1) Who we are

NetVelocity (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides Wi-Max hotspot and broadband services. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share and secure information when you visit our websites and captive portal, connect to our hotspots, use our apps or contact support.

2) Scope

Applies to our online portals (Cloudflare Pages) and offline interactions. Describes your rights under NDPR.

3) Data we collect

• Account & identity: full name, phone, email, address, NIN, password hashes.
• Hotspot events: MAC, IP, AP/router IDs, session times, usage, signal metrics, error codes.
• Transactions: plan, timestamps, status. Payments via Paystack; we don’t store full card data.
• Device info: user-agent, cookie IDs, basic analytics.
• Support: tickets and contact history.

4) How we collect

• Signup/login forms and plan purchases.
• Automatic hotspot/RADIUS logs during service use.
• Payment notifications from Paystack.
• Cookies/analytics for reliability and security.

5) How we use data

• Account creation, authentication, entitlements.
• Network quality, abuse prevention, security.
• Payments, receipts and notifications.
• Support and service communications.
• Legal/regulatory compliance.

6) Legal bases

Consent (e.g., marketing), contract (deliver service), legal obligations (KYC/lawful requests), legitimate interests (security/service quality).

7) Sharing

• Paystack (payments).
• Cloudflare (hosting/CDN/security).
• Regulators/LEAs per law; vetted vendors under DPAs; business transfers with safeguards.

8) Cookies & tracking

Strictly necessary cookies for login; limited analytics. Disabling some cookies may affect captive login/checkout.

9) Retention

For as long as needed for operations, billing disputes, security, and legal requirements, then archived or deleted.

10) Security

• Role-based access, encryption in transit, segmentation, auditing.
• Industry-standard hotspot/AAA practices.

11) International transfers

May occur via vendors/infrastructure; we use NDPR-consistent safeguards and contracts.

12) Your rights

Access, rectify, delete (where applicable), restrict/object, withdraw consent. We’ll respond within legal timelines.

13) Children

For adults/older teens with guardian consent. We delete data inadvertently collected from children without consent.
